CALM
CALM has been a leader in developing a variety of trauma-informed, evidence-based programs and services that effectively prevent and treat child abuse, promote healing, and strengthen families. Services are provided to all in both Spanish and English, at sliding scale or free of charge if needed; no one is turned away due to inability to pay. CALM continues to be the only non-profit in Santa Barbara County that specializes in the prevention and treatment of childhood trauma.

New Beginnings
New Beginnings provides mental health counseling to low-income community members and has a mission to end homelessness for individuals, families, and veterans throughout Santa Barbara County. The Safe Parking Shelter Program provides safe overnight parking to individuals and families living in their vehicle, while the Rapid Rehousing Service provides housing assistance to community members through the program. New Beginnings’ Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF) program operates from a housing-first model to help end veteran homelessness within Santa Barbara County.
